Description:
The programme gives you an opportunity to get a multi-faceted view on Europe, to discuss achievements and problems of Europe and to develop ways to handle them. A student group composed of a small international community with different academic background, held by renowned speakers coming from different countries, a close contact with international organisations, and a constant assistance by the complete team gives the students a genuine competitive advantage on the job market. The Master in Advanced European and International Studies comprises three terms. Students who successfully complete the programme are credited 60 ECTS at master level. The Master programme is subdivided into two branches: The trilingual branch includes trimesters in Nice and Berlin interrupted for a one week stay at our partner university in Rostock and a two week stay at our partner university in Rome. Additionally, the Institute offers a study trip to European and international organisations in Strasbourg, Brussels and Geneva. This Master programme is the only one taught in three languages (English, French and German). The Anglophone branch includes trimesters in Istanbul, Nice and Berlin supplemented by a one week stay in Poznan, Poland and a study trip to European and international organisations in Brussels, Strasbourg and Geneva. Programme Value: The programme is taught by academics from various European countries, as well as experts from research institutions and international organisations. Over the last years, the Institute has graduated 5000 students coming from more than 80 different countries. CIFE/Institut Europeen des Hautes Etudes Internationales's Mission Statement: The Centre International de Formation Europeenne (CIFE) is a private, non-profit making international organisation. It was founded in 1954 with the aim to train professionals and citizens in the subject of a united Europe. CIFE offers graduate university courses, summer school sessions; it organises seminars and conferences and publishes various publications. Every year, the CIFE organises Summer university courses in different Eastern European countries and in Turkey. Topics cover different European matters.
