Description: Transportation Design - Work Experience (Turin)

Car designers must have the possibility of looking ahead, with the imagination and rigor typical of those who know how to create and transmit innovations. Designers must, first of all, be capable of analyzing and decoding signs, objects and scenarios so that their creative actions can achieve set goals.

Transportation Design Work Experience is a research pathway that re-proposes the organizational conditions and real activities of a design studio, through the realization of projects commissioned by customers and developed thanks to team work, in the fields of Advanced Design and Interface Design.

Highlights: Research module

- Understanding of the concept of mobility and new social customs
- Study of influence of vehicles on urban design and planning
- Project definition and presentation
- Debriefing teamwork creation. Acquisition of the necessary tools for the development
of the project
- Introduction to the main research stages: a historical analysis of the company, competitors, scenarios
- Definition of the exterior package and application of formal and functional design
research to the vehicle.
        
Design module

Vehicle and style definition, ergonomics applied to the vehicle, technologies and materials, the shape plan and interior architecture of the vehicle, and prototype execution.
