Description:
Founded in 1964, Schiller International University (SIU), is an independent American university which has long been known as "the" international university. Our reputation reflects in part our uniqueness, for we offer American degrees at our campuses in Florida (USA), London (UK), Heidelberg (Germany), Paris and Strasbourg (France), Madrid (Spain), and Leysin and Engelberg (Switzerland). In addition, we take great pride in having cooperative agreements with some 40 universities and colleges around the world and in having over 20,000 alumni from over 100 countries. As a student at SIU, you will have the opportunity to study in some of the most exciting cities and locations in the world. It is common for students to study abroad at different campuses during the course of his or her degree program. This is an advatage since students remain within the same university system. However, internationalism embraces much more than campuses and geography. Our students realize very quickly that there are many advantages of working in a global context, of becoming part of a diverse community and of preparing themselves for leadership roles in the future. We are excited by the opportunities and challenges of the world and look forward to welcoming you to one of our campuses soon.
