Description: Founded in 1964, Schiller International University (SIU), is an independent American university which has long been known as "the" international university. Our reputation reflects in part our uniqueness, for we offer American degrees at our campuses in Florida (USA), London (UK), Heidelberg (Germany), Paris and Strasbourg (France), Madrid (Spain), and Leysin and Engelberg (Switzerland).

In addition, we take great pride in having cooperative agreements with some 40 universities and colleges around the world and in having over 20,000 alumni from over 100 countries.

The SIU Madrid campus is located in the Colomina Building in the Arguëlles district, which is within walking distance of the main shopping areas, banks, cinemas and theaters, and only minutes by subway from the Old City and museums.

Student Life
SIU assists students in finding lodging in nearby apartments, private rooms with host families, in independent rooms, or hotels. The campus offers classrooms, a library, computer labs with Internet access, study and reading rooms, a student lounge, and snack bar.
