Description:
The programme comprehends a theoretic part lasting 7 months, usually from November to June, and taking place in Pavia. It comprises around 500 hours of classes and deepens the knowledge of Economics, Social and Managerial aspects related to Development and Cooperation. The Master is fully taught in English. After the period in Pavia, all students must carry out an internship which usually lasts between 3 and 6 months. Students go on the field or in the headquarters of NGOs, International Organizations and Governmental Institutions and have the great opportunity of earning first-hand experience by working side by side with professionals in the field of Cooperation and Development. During the internship, students must write a thesis linked to their experience or to a research issue of their interest. After the discussion of this final thesis students will be awarded the Master Diploma. The program provides approximately 500 hours of class, for an overall weight of 75 ECTS.

Scholarships are Available. -
Three types of scholarships are available:
A) Scholarships to help with costs for residence in Pavia, particularly at university Colleges;
B) Scholarships with partial exemption from fees;
C) Scholarships with total exemption from fees (available to a very limited number of students).
In some cases A) may be added either to B) or to C). Students will be informed as to whether or not they have received a scholarship upon notification of admission to the program.
These scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and analysis of the financial situation of the candidate in question. The Scientific Committee will be in charge of selecting scholarship recipients. Its decision will be final and indisputable.
