Bioinformatics - Masters Programme
Sweden
Description:
The curriculum contains courses focusing on bioinformatics algorithms, methods for structural modelling, and research and development in bioinformatics. There is a computer science part of the programme, where you will concentrate on courses in procedural programming and object oriented programming. You will also carry out a master's dissertation project in the field of bioinformatics. During your studies, lectures will be mixed with computer laboratory work. You will learn how to use various computerized tools for compiling and analyzing data from research projects and biological experiments, and to use various methods for analysis, for example sequence analysis, phylogenetic analysis and gene expression analysis. The language of tuition is English.
