Currently, there are two programs available to international students: the one-semester Central European Studies Program and the four-semester Master of Arts degree in Political Science and European Studies. M.A. in Political Science and European Studies This program presents an opportunity for international students to enroll in a complex and modern study program focused mainly on European Union, its institutions, policies, perspectives and international context. A comprehensive set of compulsory courses is further extended by a varied offer of optional classes, covering various related topics and expanding the scope of the standard study program. This graduate program ends with a state final exam, entitling the alumni to a Masters' title (Mgr.). Ph.D. in Politics This program presents the highest available level of higher education in Political Science in the European Union, available in English for international students at the Department of Politics and European Studies. The three-year doctoral program accepts a limited number of students, selected by means of a more complex admission process, ensuring the best conditions for their future academic and research activities. A successful completion of the doctoral program entitles its alumni to the Ph.D. academic title. Central European Studies Program The main aim of the Central European Studies Program is to familiarize students with the history and current situation of Central European countries. It is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the history, political systems, economy, culture, political philosophy, sociology and ethnic and minority politics in Central European countries. Special attention is given to current transformation of political, economic and social life in the Central European countries.
