Master of Science in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance (MSc CLEF)
Italy
Description:
The International University College of Turin (the IUC) is now offering a Master of Science degree in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance (MSc CLEF). With a faculty pool of judges, international lawyers and scholars from five continents, the IUC offers a learning environment which is highly diverse and interdisciplinary. The two-year program offers students the chance to travel to one of IUC's partner universities in their second year and advance their legal studies through diverse cultural experiences. Students from all disciplines are urged to apply as the IUC prides its diverse atmosphere.
Highlights:
The IUC offers a rigorous academic course in conventional substantive law, economics and finance subjects. However, in contrast to traditional LLM programs, the IUC prides itself on its multi-disciplinary approach and the breadth of its course offerings. For instance, the IUC advocates the study of law, finance and economics of complex Islamic world, Africa, Latin America or Asia. Importantly, the courses are taught by professors from the respective regions. The IUC's innovative classroom atmosphere will include multiple professors from different disciplines simultaneously discussing issues of concern. Students will experience traditional highlights of a Western legal education (through moot courts, the academic journal Global Jurist, etc.) and will also have the opportunity to participate in new learning methods such as documentary film making. All of the courses will be taught in English to ease the comprehension of subjects at hand. Basic Italian classes will also be available to students during their stay in Italy so that they assimilate to Italy and its exciting lifestyle.
