Description: International MBA Programme

The International MBA is an 11 month programme designed to build the potential of university graduates with a minimum of two years of post-graduate, full time work experience. Participants in the programme are highly motivated individuals committed to acquiring the training necessary to consolidate their managerial skills and pursue an exhilarating career in the world of international business.

The programme includes classes on managerial skills as well as core courses in finance, marketing, human resources and the business life cycle. Participants have the opportunity to specialise their studies with seminars during the International Week and electives in the final trimester. Students will also have considerable choice in selecting the focus of two major projects with their teams, a marketing plan and a corporate business project.

In spring, EADA hosts the International Weeks, in which visiting professors from all over the world teach two week seminars on current topics related to business management. Seminars change annually, but examples from the 2006-2007 year include Globalization, Multinational Financial Management, and Global Competitive Strategy.

Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to participate in an International Week abroad, a week long international course in another business school in the Americas, Europe, or Asia in June/July. Those that choose to stay in Barcelona will be able to choose from several elective classes to attend at EADA.

Examples of companies where EADA MBA alumni work include: Almirall Prodesfarma, Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Marcus Evans, Cadbury Schweppes, and Nestle.

Masters in Management, Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing

The EADA Master Community encompasses programmes of one academic year designed for recent university graduates who are interested in differentiating themselves in this highly competitive labour market. EADA's Master programmes are not another year of university studies but an intensive training for the corporate world. Our objective is to prepare you to make steady strides towards success in the company.

All Master programmes include management foundation classes on various aspects of international business, followed by specialisation courses in management, human resources, Finance, or Marketing. For the six final months of the programme, students will work in groups to complete final projects on a topic of their choice. Past projects have developed Marketing plans, evaluated shipment forecasting, and investigated the leadership style in various companies.

As in the MBA, students in the Masters programmes take part in the International Weeks, during which professors from all over the world teach two week seminars on topics related to business management. Seminars change annually, but examples from the 2006-2007 year include Marketing for the 21st Century, Global Communications, and Management Consulting Skills.

The Master in Management is unique in two ways: First, in addition to having the opportunity to participate in one of EADA's post-graduation exchange programmes, students can choose to study abroad in EADA's partner schools in France, Poland, and the UK during the programme. Students in this Master will also attend the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Poland during a week-long International School designed to give participants the opportunity to share their learning and experiences in a uniquely international environment.

Examples of companies where EADA Master alumni work include: Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Mango, BP, Shell, Continental, InBev, and GSBC.
