Description: St. John International University (SJIU) is the only international university that offers MBA education that takes a holistic approach to sustainable business growth. This education philosophy draws from the dominant paradigms in management, sociology, economics, ecology and cultural studies to train the students to be the most successful business leaders of tomorrow. All the business courses at SJIU incorporate this philosophy, which makes the whole academic program truly unique. SJIU founders strongly believe that while it is of utmost importance that business decisions result in wealth creation, a business executive that takes a holistic approach to decision-making will deliver much superior returns to shareholders and other stake holders compared to an executive that follows a traditional business education.

The students in the MBA program will be exposed to over 500 business cases that involve decision-making using the SJIU approach. SJIU faculty will invite several executives as guest speakers in classes so that students have "face-to-face" opportunities, to critique the past decisions of the today's business leaders. In addition to the course materials and SJIU philosophy, the international and cultural diversity of the student body as well as the faculty and staff will offer a rich learning experience. All students will be offered assistance in career placement. Also, the location of SJIU in Torino offers a unique opportunity to interact with the rich Italian culture and learn a new language.

Following the American tradition, the academic year begins in September and ends in May. All courses are taught in English with the exception of language courses.

SJIU's housing office provides students with assistance in housing placement. Standard housing is in full-fully furnished apartments shared with other international students. These accommodations are conveniently located near the city center with access to campus by public transport.
