The course Fashion Illustration Design is designated to young creators that want to take the fashion design career and all those that intend to give design a true and proper artistic expression, free and personal of strong visual impact. To achieve such a goal, the course is divided into 3 parts in which the fundamental knowledge of techniques, instruments, and applications is applied to the immediate and efficient management of methodology projects. The first part (practical, technological, instrumental) includes a technological area concerning support, materials, manual graphical pictorial techniques, colour, suggestions for the best use of the multimedia instruments (camera, photocopier, etc.), and the use of graphics on the computer (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, and others). The second part (practical operative laboratory of design of fashion illustrations) draws on an area of technological projects and more specifically on design: fashion figures, images, costumes, dresses and textiles, accessories, jewellery, perfumes until arriving at your own personal style to create an individual book and its commercial presentation. The third part of the Fashion Illustration Design course provides paths of theoretic/seminar knowledge, focusing on such topics as the historic search of images of Fashion Illustration derived from the archives of museums, from newspapers and fashion houses, from the private archives of artists, their sketches and designs, small or great, dated back from 1900 until today.
