It will enable you to become a Chartered Certified Accountant, use the designatory letters of ACCA, and work in any aspect of finance or management in any business worldwide.

IBaT is a gold-level provider of ACCA - establishing the college as one of the highest quality ACCA providers in Dublin. IBAT offers International Students a full-time ACCA course covering all the foundation modules (F1-F9) and the Professional modules (P1-P7). The course is open to school leavers, college graduates and mature students who have worked in accountancy or business. Teaching is done through a combination of evening lectures and some daily workshops and tutorials.

Prior to starting the course, students must register with ACCA Global - this can be done on the ACCAglobal.com website. If students have studied accountancy previously, they may be entitled to some course exemptions - these exemptions MUST be made known to IBaT before the course begins and students may apply for exemptions through the ACCA website.

The Fundamental level on this course is divided into two modules - Knowledge and Skills.

The Knowledge module (F1-F3) introduces students to the core areas of financial and management accounting. This provides the
platform from which the other technical accountancy areas will be studied in greater detail in the Skills module.

The Skills module (F4-F9) contains six subjects which comprehensively cover the main technical areas that any accountant - regardless of their future career aspirations - are expected to have mastered. These comprise law, performance management, taxation, financial reporting, auditing, and financial management. Students are expected to study each level Knowledge, Skills and Professional level in order. Papers may be attempted from different modules at the same time as long as the modules are attempted in order. Students must ensure that they meet the entry requirements and paper pre-requisites.

The ACCA Qualification successfully combines practical experience and professional exams. The papers are based on international accounting and auditing standards.
