Description: Yasar University is a private university, located on the West coast of Turkey, in Izmir. The Department of Business Administration program offers the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. The language of instruction is English. The main concern of the program is to develop the necessary skills required to confront the challenges of a changing world. The program's emphasis is on analytical methods and problem solving. Participative learning is accommodated through case analysis, term projects, and classroom discussions. The curriculum is designed to serve a broad spectrum of personal objectives through technical area courses and electives providing our students a course of study which meets their individual needs. In addition, the opportunities to improve a broad spectrum of techical and social knowledge and skills are also abundant via various media such as national symposiums and international congress organized by our university, exchange programmes, joint development of study programmes, international intensive programmes, thematic networks among various departments and faculties across Europe through the Erasmus program. The program, thereby, is geared to give students the knowledge, skills and analythical thinking required to pursue a career in business or an advanced study so that the graduates could get job offers from leading multinationals and local firms as well as the public enterprises. The Department of Business Administration also provides Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs in English and in Turkish at the Institute of Social Sciences.
