Department of Tourism and Hotel Management offers a four-year theoretical and practical education which aims to closely follow and teach the actual trends and progresses in the fields like tourism and accommodation, hotel management, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, food and beverages, service performing, travel and tour management, tourism policy, richness of resources and problems of Turkish Tourism Industry. As the tourism industry is one of the most rapidly growing industries in the world; in the forthcoming years, more and more people will be employed in the tourism field. In order to meet the growing demands for highly-qualified and skilled professionals in the tourism industry, an understanding of comprehensive and dynamic education is being adopted in the department. Providing opportunities to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and perspective for young people that like working with people and are considering a management career in food and beverage service, resorts, hotels, conference centers, airlines, entertainment and event management is one of the main aims of the department to be founded. Another aim of the department is making academic researches and organizing conferences in the field to reinforce the growth of the tourism industry.

The education language is English. German or French as a second foreign language is also obligatory for the students of this department. Internship for 60 workdays is obligatory in this department. Çesme Alt1nyunus Hotel, a subsidiary of Yasar Holding, provides all the support that is needed for trainee and practical education to the students of the department.
