Description: Nothing can be more exciting than to learn how life functions. Studies in Biology give new and unimaginable views of life. The programme starts with basic courses in Biology, a minor subject and international courses. Deeper knowledge is achieved from courses in Biodiversity, Landscape Ecology, from the exchange semester and the individual degree assignment. As a biologist you will be important in the development of our society. Competence in Biology is demanded in the private sector and the public sector. Biology studies at Mid Sweden University are international and include a semester at one of our partner universities abroad.

General Entry Requirements
Graduation from a complete upper secondary education in Sweden or abroad with exemption from basic proficiency in Swedish.

Specific Entry Requirements
The following course levels from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or equivalent: Biology course B, Chemistry course B, Mathematics course C and English course A.
Special proficiency in English can also be proven by, or example, the following international tests:
- TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 on paper based test and not below 4.0 on the TWE
- IELTS Academic Training with a minimum overall score of 6.0 and a minimum score on the specific parts of at least 5.0

Degree Level: Bachelors Degree (Undergraduate)
