Master of Arts Degree Programs Master of Arts Degree: Pursue a Master of Arts degree through either of two graduate tracks: (1) Psychology - Systems Counseling or (2) Organizational Systems - Leadership & Organization Development. The Masters Degree program begins in March or September so that you can start at a time that best fits your life and your schedule. The Saybrook/LIOS MA program prepares you for 21st century practices and careers. In a time of tectonic shifts in contemporary culture, affecting individuals, communities, corporations and governments, we prepare our students for creative change and crisis. Our graduates' skill sets include fundamentals of counseling / coaching relationships, the dynamic study of human diversity and systems, ethics and epistemology, family- and culture-of-origin theory and more. Professional Leadership Training Workshops offered by LIOS: LIOS's approach to leadership emphasizes integrity, self-awareness and understanding of how and why individuals act, react and interact as they do in groups. The Institute's workshops provide in-depth training for professionals who want to bring about significant change in their organizations and to recharge their roles in teams, departments, boards or corporations. Our workshops are designed for individuals who work in a variety of fields, including health, information technology, government, law, education and industry. All LIOS workshops can be tailored to your organization's specific needs and can be presented at your worksite.
