Description:
Environmental Science is a multidisciplinary field that incorporates and applies knowledge from the biological, physical and social sciences in order to develop a broad scientific understanding of human impacts on the environment. A degree in environmental science allows students to pursue career options in both the public and private sectors as environmental consultants, water quality assessment and monitoring specialists, toxicologists, wildlife park managers/directors, regulatory compliance officers etc. It also prepares students for entry into graduate programs in biological, social, and physical sciences. Belize is the ideal place to study Environmental Science. With one of the best and largest Barrier Reefs in the world, beaches, rivers, rainforests and other areas of great environmental interest and importance, Belize is a living laboratory for the study of the environmental and all of the factors which influence it.
