Description: The American University of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH) is a four-year undergraduate American-style university which offers degree programs in International Finance and Banking, Legal Studies, and Information Technology in cooperation with the State University of New York (SUNY), Canton. Students graduate with dual diplomas, which are recognized in the United States, the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Founded in 2005, AUBiH now enrolls more than 380 students on its three campuses (Tuzla, Sarajevo and Banja Luka), where the University advances the ideals of an American liberal arts education, encouraging the free exchange of ideas and promoting open interaction within its diverse student body. AUBiH students are dynamic, highly intelligent and motivated. The faculty and supporting staff come from the finest American and European universities and aspire to help the region emerge from the recent past by educating a new generation of professionals prepared to assume positions of leadership in business and government.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is the heart shaped country that lies in the middle of the Balkans - that part of Eastern Europe that sticks out into the Mediterranean between Italy and Turkey. Fifty years of communist rule followed by the dissolution of Yugoslavia in the 1990s has created a society anxious to assume it place in Europe and the world. The stunningly beautiful countryside, old world charm of its cities and genuine warmth of the people, make AUBiH an ideal place to pursue a world class education in Europe.
