John Cabot University is pleased to announce the founding of the John Cabot University Summer Institute in International Communication. Supported by leading scholars in communication, the Institute's mission is to provide an on-going summer program of intellectual integrity and positive student engagement for communication majors in Rome, the city of Cicero. Summer II 2009 Courses: Public Speaking Survey of Rhetoric Intercultural Communication Media, Culture and Society Business Communications Realism in Italian Cinema Creative Writing Digital Photography Additional courses in: Art History Business Classics Italian Language Marketing Music Political Science Institute Activities Dinners with Institute faculty and students on JCU's Roman terrazzo Film showings Lectures by communications specialists Community volunteer projects Speech Contest in honor of Cicero
