Education is provided at Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario and the internship and work placement services are provided by WISH Canada Recruit Inc. This unique program allows students that have international degrees and diplomas in any discipline to have a Canadian education and work experience in a short period of time in the exciting field of International Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Management after graduation from the college. Work placement services can be provided either by WISH Canada in Vancouver or WISH Canada in Toronto. - Length of the Study Program: 1 year (2 semesters). - Length of Work Permit after graduation: up to 1 year; WISH will assist the student with a paid professional position in Canada after graduation. - Study Module Start Date: Fall Session in September or Winter Session in January. Students can come several weeks or even months before the start date at the college to study and/or improve in the English language first at WISH Canada's partner language school in Toronto if they do not have TOEFL or IELTS or other accepted certificates issued outside of Canada. WISH Canada will provide students with a conditional acceptance letter for entering Post Graduate Certificate Program once the candidate has registered for a preparatory language course. - Credit Earned: Ontario College Graduate Certificate. - Off-campus work permit: can be issued after 6 months of study; WISH Canada can assist students with a part-time off-campus paid work or a full-time unpaid professional internship to gain a Canadian experience before graduation (please refer to Career Management Package descriptions). WISH Canada has received an increasing demand on career planning in Canada and has provided a variety of services to international students for several years. This has led to the design of the Career Management Packages for international students. This allows the students to take advantage of the enhanced post graduate career options by using the best possible career building strategy and outstanding services. WISH Canada Career Management Package includes: - An off- campus part-time non-professional work placement after 6 months of study in Canada OR - An unpaid professional internship before or after graduating from the college to widen the employment opportunities AND - A post graduate work placement after the completion of the study for the duration that must equal to the study period WISH Canada Career Management Package Plus includes: - An off- campus part-time non-professional work placement after 6 months of study in Canada AND - An unpaid professional internship before or after graduating from the college to widen the employment opportunities AND - A post graduate work placement after the completion of the study for the duration that must equal to the study period WISH Canada Placement Services include: - phone interview before arrival to determine the students expectations, eligibility and English level - initial consultation upon arrival - one on one interview training - resume support and company search - follow-up during the program Program registration services through WISH Canada Recruit Inc. are free of charge. Placement services provided by WISH is included in the total cost are available only for candidates registering for the program through WISH Canada Recruit Inc. or authorized agents of WISH Canada.
Highlights:
Registration process for International candidates: Please send your resume, the completed application form, copy of the college or university transcript in an English version and a copy of your passport. If the original transcript is not in English, the student must get and send a certified English translation. After reviewing the documents, WISH Canada will set up a time and a date for a phone interview in order to evaluate the student's English level, review the student's expectations and discuss the student's future plans upon completion of the program. After the phone interview, a report will be sent out - the report will show either "pass", "pass under conditions" or "refused". If the student passed the phone interview and has received the report, an invoice will be sent out. Upon receiving the invoice, the partial program payment should be made before the Letter of Acceptance is issued. These are the features of the program. - Students graduating from degree and diploma programs from the college, and those in career transitions are able to gain a solid foundation in international business practices in a short period of time - You will gain a practical industry experience through the industry project component. Students will work in a team for an entrepreneurial endeavour, a small business or major company.

- The application for this program is based on a "first come first served" system; therefore, we strongly recommend that candidates apply as early as possible at WISH Canada. Please note that many programs have a limited number of seats. - The applicant must submit a resume and an official transcript demonstrating proof of a successful completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree program. - Minimum English language requirements: TOEFL iBT 79, CBT 213, PBT 550; IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5; CAEL 60; MELAB 80.
