Teaching & Assessment Methods
A range of teaching and learning strategies are employed to suit the various types of learner. Typically lectures are supported by smaller group tutorials and seminars, case workshops, project and group based activities, and practical demonstrations, which can be led by staff or students. Students are also given independent learning activities. Where appropriate, student learning is supported by materials, tasks and activities provided via a virtual learning environment. A range of assessment methods are used throughout the Certificate programme to assess specific learning objectives. Students at each level have to complete a variety of context-specific coursework through a combination of examinations, practical demonstrations and industrial attachments. Admission Criteria
- 2 Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level grades (Grades 1-8) in any 2 subjects OR
- 3 Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'N' Level passes (Grades 1-5) in English & 2 other subjects
- Minimum English Language requirement of TOEFL 475 or IELTS 4.75
- Minimum 10 years of secondary education and pass in Mathematics (65%) Modules
