Description: The Academia Dell'Arte offers programs for University undergraduates and post-graduate students from around the world in the performing arts. With its exclusive focus on theater, music and dance the Academia offers a study abroad opportunity in Tuscany with outstanding artists and professionals from Europe and the United States. Additional classes in the arts are available throughout the year.

A studio based program for theatre, music and dance students, the Accademia, along with its partner Hendrix College, provides accredited courses for students seeking a rigorous conservatory style program in an culturally enriched environment. The Accademia dell'Arte undergraduate program is fully accredited by Hendrix College.

Those who come to study at the Accademia will combine an intensive Italian language program and academic studies with a semester or 4-6 weeks (Summer) of high level theatre, music and dance performance training. Our commitment is to approach the notion of artist in a holistic and comprehensive manner, combining rigorous technical training with the aim of achieving an overall synergy of skills that will help to develop students both professionally and personally.

Highlights: The Academia is housed in the beautiful Villa Godiola with resident and dining facilities.

Accademia Dell'Arte's Mission Statement: The Accademia dell'Arte is an exciting study abroad program that has quickly gained a notable reputation from both our participants and collaborators in the world of performing arts. As a program that is virtually unique in Europe, we are dedicated to providing an extraordinary experience for students currently studying and training in Theatre, Music (vocal and instrumental), Dance and Italian language during the semester who wish to extend their horizons with an intensive period of training, studying and performing in Italy. In the summer we add the options of studying Theatre, Film Production, Dance, Art History and Drawing.
