TASP: Teach and Study Program's Mission Statement: TASP: Teach and Study Program
A two-year work-study adventure that will change your life. TASP: Tel Aviv Teach and Study Program now entering its eleventh year, brings university graduates to live and work in Tel Aviv as Israelis. The goals for TASP participants are multifold: to study for an MA in Teaching English To Speakers of Other Languages at Tel Aviv University, to impact the English language development of children in Tel Aviv and to experience life in a vibrant and dynamic multicultural society.
The TASP Interns take advantage of many varied social, cultural and educational activities in Israel during their two-year stay. They study Hebrew and have practical workshops and seminars in teaching English in the Israeli classroom.
TASP graduates with newly acquired multicultural awareness as well as vastly improved expressive language abilities find themselves highly marketable in Israel, North America and elsewhere.
